Volunteer Resident Meal Program

Community Partnership for Homeless is grateful to our community’s faith-based and civic organizations that help us in providing meals for our residents. Each day, we seek to have a group of volunteers help us purchase, cook and serve the meals. Our goal is that each volunteer group enjoys this experience and considers committing to help with this meal program on a regular basis. Many groups volunteer for one meal per month, but a number of meals remain open. If your group would like to volunteer, we have three different options available to you.

  1. FULL SERVICE: Your group may purchase the food, prepare and serve the meal to our residents.
  2. PREPARE & SERVE: We will purchase the food and provide your group an invoice. Your group would use our kitchen to prepare and serve the meal to our residents.
  3. SIMPLY SERVE: We will purchase the food and provide your group an invoice. Staff will prepare the meal and your group would serve our residents.
Your donation of food and time is greatly appreciated and helps us serve as many as 702 individuals daily, including many families and children (402 individuals at the Chapman Center downtown, and 300 at the South Miami-Dade Center in Homestead).

If your group would like to volunteer, please call Community Relations at (305) 329-3042 or e-mail us at: volunteer@cphi.org
