Miami, FL – October 13, 2004 - Community Partnership for Homeless has chosen local businessman and philanthropist, Ronald L. Book to receive The Alvah H. Chapman Jr. Humanitarian Award for his contributions and dedication to the homeless communities in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties. The award will be presented at Community Partnership for Homeless’ Third Annual Benefit on Friday, October 22, 2004 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Miami.

“Ron Book has been a pillar in our community for many years,” said Ray Goode, chairman of Community Partnership for Homeless. “Our organization is only one of many that have benefited from his leadership and dedication. We feel that Ron represents everything that a true humanitarian should be.”
